The Curatorial Framework of Axiom Manifold
1. Terms of Service
1.1 Nature of Goods & Condition
By purchasing from Axiom Manifold, you acknowledge that our collection consists of rare vintage specimens and hand-decanted extractions for collection and study purposes. Unlike modern retail products, these items are irreplaceable historical artifacts.
Final Sale Policy:
Due to the extreme volatility of aged liquids, the rarity of the vessels, and the high risk of tampering, all sales are final. No returns or exchanges will be granted once an order has been dispatched.
Aged Materials:
Vintage fragrances naturally evolve over decades. Variations in colour, minor fill-level depletion (natural evaporation), or shifts in top notes are inherent to the aging process and do not constitute defects.
Packaging Protocol:
All decants are hand-sealed with laboratory-grade Parafilm® to minimize leakage. For original bottles, we use multi-layered shock-absorbing packaging. Our historical breakage rate remains near zero.
Quality Control:
We record the inspection and packing process for every order. These records serve as the definitive evidence of the item’s condition and authenticity upon dispatch.
1.2 Global Shipping & Customs Risk
The international transit of vintage fragrance carries inherent risks that the purchaser must assume:
- Customs & Seizure: The purchaser is responsible for ensuring local laws allow the import of alcohol-based fragrances. Axiom Manifold is not liable for items seized, delayed, or destroyed by customs.
- Non-Refundable Shipping: Shipping fees are non-refundable if a parcel is returned due to customs rejection, unpaid import duties, or failure to collect the parcel.
To protect the integrity of our collection against fraudulent claims, any report of physical damage must be accompanied by a continuous, unedited unboxing video. Notification must be provided within 48 hours of delivery. Verified transit damage will be processed via insurance.
1.4 Pricing, Descriptions & Errors
We reserve the right to correct any errors in pricing, descriptions, or availability. If an order is canceled due to such an error, a full refund will be issued immediately.
1.5 Intellectual Property
All content, including photography, text, and curatorial presentation, is the intellectual property of Axiom Manifold. Unauthorized reproduction for commercial use is strictly prohibited.
1.6 Liability & Safety Standards
Historical perfumes may contain ingredients that do not align with modern IFRA standards. These are sold as specimens for study. The purchaser assumes all risks regarding skin sensitivity or handling.
2. Privacy Policy
2.1 Information Usage
We collect only essential data: Name, shipping address, and email for order fulfillment. We do not sell or monetize your data.
2.2 Secure Payments
All payments are handled by encrypted third-party gateways (PayPal/Stripe). Axiom Manifold does not store your credit card information.
Billing Notice:
Transactions will appear on your statement as PAYPAL *AXIOM MANIFOLD.
